Founded in 1861 by Dr Vartan as a four-bed clinic, the Nazareth Hospital serves a catchment area of more than 500,000 people today.
The Nazareth community has relied on our hospital for the past 162 years, and we want to make sure no one is left behind. That’s why we want to take a big step forward and build an expanded and improved trauma centre.
With your help, our skilled doctors and health-care professionals in the Emergency Room will be able to care for more than 100,000 visits a year (an increase of 40% in patients saved).
With your support, the new fortified center will stand as a testimony to the power of care. Our project also involves increased space for patients and new trauma services for Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. It also includes expanding the Gastroenterology Unit, Lung and Tuberculosis unit, and imaging services.
