Help Us Provide Crucial Protected Beds for EMMS Nazareth Hospital amid Crisis
The Need: Increase our protected admissions capacity to handle emergencies
EMMS Nazareth Hospital serves a population of 350,000 and is located in the North of Israel, an area that is close to the Northern border and has a shortage of protected admission beds.
As the main trauma and acute care provider in the area, having less than one third of our admission beds being protected, there is a real need to increase our protected capacity to handle emergency admissions.
The hospital faces significant challenges, particularly as winter approaches, increasing admissions, especially among the elderly.
Currently there is a critical shortage of fortified, safe beds for patients with mobility challenges—leaving our most vulnerable at risk.
Our Plan: Converting 500 sqm of Secure Storage into a Temporary Ward
By transforming a 500 sqm protected storage space, we can add 40–50 additional vital beds, nearly doubling our current capacity.
The structure is already in place, but we need your help to complete it.
The estimated cost for the necessary completion which includes electricity, air conditioning, fire protection, facilities such as toilets and a kitchen is $1.5 million.
(approx. £1.1 million)
Your support will make this critical expansion possible, providing a crucial service for patients in need during these uncertain times.
With your help we can make the necessary upgrades to complete this space within eight weeks.
Please join us in this life-saving mission by contributing to our urgent appeal. Your donation will help us protect our community and ensure we’re ready for whatever lies ahead.
Thank you for your support,
