Founded in 1861 by Dr Vartan as a four-bed clinic, the Nazareth Hospital serves a catchment area of more than 500,000 people today.
The Nazareth community has relied on our hospital for the past 162 years, and we want to make sure no one is left behind. That’s why we want to take a big step forward and build an expanded and improved trauma centre.
On September 15, 2025, we started to operate our new protected ER floor, designed to deliver rapid, focused, and specialised care, while easing the burden on the general emergency department. This facility includes tailored services for ambulatory patients, ensuring professional and patient-centered treatment. But we need to renovate our old ER building in order to keep the facilities in use.
With your help to renovate our old ER building, our skilled doctors and health-care professionals in the Emergency Room will be able to care for more than 100,000 visits a year (an increase of 40% in patients saved).
